What MemeRock is
MEMEROCK® is a community index project on Robinhood Chain. Its token, $MROCK, tracks the MEME500, a rules-based basket of memecoins native to the chain. The basket is acquired and held by an on-chain address called the Index Treasury, which is funded by the creator fees generated when $MROCK is traded.
MemeRock Asset Management is the name of the project, the index committee, the methodology and the brand. MemeRock is not a company. It is a filing cabinet with a crest.
The proposition, reduced to one line: instead of guessing which memecoin wins the cycle, hold the category.
What it is not
- It is not an asset manager. Nobody at MemeRock manages anyone’s assets. The treasury executes a published methodology; the name is the joke.
- It is not a registered fund. No regulator has reviewed it, no custodian holds it, no prospectus has been filed anywhere.
- It is not an ETF in the regulatory sense. “Index”, “ETF” and “asset management” are used as branding and generic descriptors. There are no creations, no redemptions, no authorised participants and no arbitrage mechanism holding price to NAV.
- It is not a claim on the treasury. Holding $MROCK does not entitle the holder to a share of the basket. The treasury’s holdings are visible, not redeemable. Phase II staking distributions, if deployed, are the only mechanism by which basket assets reach holders.
- It is not investment advice. Nothing on this site recommends buying, holding or selling anything.

Current status
The project is pre-launch. No token has been deployed, no treasury address exists, and no index value is published. Every number on this website is illustrative and is labelled as such. Final parameters — epoch cadence, eligibility thresholds, sleeve triggers, voting threshold, launch constituents — are published at launch and will replace the illustrative values in these documents.
